Abstracts and Posters
In total 126 abstracts have been accepted for presentation. The accepted abstracts are published online by Elsevier as an official supplement of European Urology Open Science. This supplement will be online as of 25 January 2024 at www.sciencedirect.com and http://europeanurology.com.

As of 25 January 2024 all abstract videos and posters are also available online at the meeting resource centre and through the Event App for EAU members and meeting delegates. During the meeting, you can view the posters and videos on TV screens in the exhibition. More information about abstracts can be found here.


Access to the Session Rooms
Only meeting delegates, with a valid badge, have access to session rooms. Seating is regulated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend delegates to go to the session rooms well in advance. Due to safety regulations, the organisers will close the session room when all seats are taken. It is not allowed to stand in the aisles of the rooms.


App
Download the EAU Association App for free in the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and optimise your experience at the UROtech24 meeting via the handy EAU Events app. No lugging around printed materials nor painstakingly search for the info you need. Go digital and download this eco-friendly alternative!

You can easily browse through scientific programmes with its user-friendly interface. Filter your search by day, session type, and speaker. You can even create your own personal programme thanks to the personal planner feature!

The app doesn’t necessarily require an internet access. You can use the app offline but please note that some features will only be updated when you’re online e.g. news, tweets, etc.


Catering
Coffee breaks and lunch will take place in the exhibition area.


Certificate of Attendance
Please visit your MyEAU account to download your UROtech24 Certificate of Attendance, available as of Tuesday, 30 January 2024. Log in and you will see the main menu on the left side of your screen. Click on “Events” and select “Certificates” from the drop-down menu. Before obtaining our certificate, you will be requested to complete the evaluation questionnaire.


Cloakroom / Luggage
A cloakroom is available and is at participants’ disposal during meeting hours. Please be sure to collect all personal belongings at the end of the day.

CME Accreditation
The UROtech24 – A joint meeting of the EAU Section Uro-Technology and EAU Section of Urolithiasis organized by European Association of Urology (EAU) has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 18.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Congress Bag
Each delegate can collect a congress bag in the registration area.


Currency
The national currency in the Austria is the Euro.


Disclosure links to Industry
All faculty members are requested to disclose to the audience any links with the industry related to the topic of their lecture at the start of their presentation(s).


EAU Policy on Live Surgery
The EAU established an official policy on Live Surgery Events, offering organising centers a clear framework within which to plan and perform live surgeries. It outlines a set of guidelines in which the overriding principle is that patient safety must take priority over all other considerations in the conduct of live surgery.


Electricity
Austria operates on 230 volts, 50 Hz, with round-prong European-style plugs that fit into recessed wall sockets /points.

Many appliances with their own power adapters (such as laptop computers and digital cameras)—can be plugged into either 110-120-volt or 220-240-volt sockets/points and will adapt to the voltage automatically, but you will need a plug adaptor that can fit into the recessed wall socket/point.

Guests and Children
In compliance with the Pharma Codes, it is not allowed for you to register accompanying guests (including children). Any guests you may have are not allowed to access this event. In addition, the EAU is unfortunately unable to offer children’s day-care facilities at its events.
If you have any special requirements due to impaired mobility, medical needs or due to the fact you are nursing please let the organisation know in advance.


Insurance
The organisers do not accept responsibility for any personal damage. Participants are strongly recommended to arrange their own personal insurance.


Language
All presentations during the meeting will be conducted in English.


Lost and Found
Found items should be returned to the registration desk. If you lose or find something, please report to this desk for assistance.


Mobile Phones
The sound and camera flash of mobile phones must be switched off during all sessions.


Networking
You can use the UROtech24 event app to get in touch with other delegates. by making yourself visible in the attendees list and allow new conversations and appointments. This feature is off by default, you can turn it on by logging into the app with your MyEAU credentials through the “My Profile” menu in the top right corner.


No-smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed throughout the entire venue, including all exhibition areas, session rooms, registration and catering areas. All participants are kindly requested to respect the no-smoking policy, which also applies to e-cigarettes.


Photography & Filming
EAU will be taking photos and doing some filming between sessions. If you would prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please let us know by sending an e-mail to: press@uroweb.org


Resource Centre and webcasting of presentations & sessions
Presentations and sessions will be webcasted under the condition that the speakers have given their approval. As a meeting delegate, you can access the UROtech24 scientific content after the meeting via the UROtech24 Resource Centre using your MyEAU credentials. The content in the Resource Centre will be available up to 1 year after the meeting, but is not accredited.

Security and Safety
The safety of all meeting attendees is of the utmost importance. The venue and EAU have taken security precautions to ensure the maximum possible safety for all participants. All bags may be subject to inspection. Please take all personal belongings with you when leaving the session room.
